eData Vehicle Diagnostic Tool The eData is a real-time vehicle diagnostic tool with a user-friendly interface for setting customizable rules and notifications based on CANbus or OBD CAN data. It alerts fleet managers instantly about critical vehicle health parameters, allowing immediate action and in-depth analysis. For instance, alerts can be set for specific events like a driver not wearing a seatbelt while speeding over 80 mph for more than 2 minutes. With advanced CANbus integration, eData enables monitoring of parameters like engine temperature, DTCs, and safety features, offering a unique rule-based alert system for specific event combinations. Its 3D histogram technology provides deep insights, such as the impact of tire pressure on fuel consumption at high speeds. eData’s efficient in-vehicle data processing minimizes communication, storage, and server load, saving costs on data transmission and operational expenses for large fleets. - StarLink eConnect | ERM Telematics
StarLink eConnect Technology Patented Solution for Tracking Jammed Vehicles The StarLink eConnect patented invention provides a novel solution for tracking jammed vehicles that are using the GSM network. The SrarLink eConnect facilitate real time GSM/RF communication networks, enabling redundant communication for vehicles where the positioning system on board the vehicle is jammed. The StarLink eConnect is adapted for monitoring the operation of GSM network and the GPS positioning network to detect / determine whether they operate properly and/or whether a failure occurs in one of these services / networks, preventing the communication of vehicle data to the control center. Once the StarLink eConnect identifies jamming has occured, it transmits a distress message with information regarding the device ID, speed and heading. The information recieved is being picked-up by nearby vehicles, which forward the distress signal to the control center for further action. The StarLink eConnect provides a robust, practical and cost-effective solution, which can be implemented within the vehicle-tracking-systems that are installed by the security service provider providing the vehicle tracking services, while without the need for modifications or adaptations of external services / systems, such as those associated with the cellular and/or other communication networks. - Parking Habits | ERM Telematics
Parking Habits ERM’s patented Parking Habits solution was designed to provide business advantage to ERM’s partners who offer Stolen Vehicle Recovery (SVR) services, and to assist them in locating and retrieving stolen vehicles, for which the customers have stopped paying, mostly in BHPH (Buy Here Pay Here) operations. This solution operates even where the tracking device was removed or blocked. The Parking Habits patented solution monitors and analyses drivers' parking habits by building a representative model that shows the locations of parking during the period it’s monitored. The model is based on parking during the day, week, month, and year and emphasizes the frequency the vehicle was parked in each of the locations. Automobile dealerships working in the BHPH (Buy Here Pay Here) car financing method sell vehicles to customers who sometimes fail to meet the payments for the vehicle/car. The dealership that sold the car can use the Parking Habit solution to predict where the car will be parked at any particular time and day and to send a repossession crew to retrieve it. The patented Parking Habits solution can help predict financial problems of the customer, which can result in payment delays or even payments being stopped, before they even occur. The car financing company or dealership will be able to receive alerts about drivers that changed their parking habits in a way that might requires the company’s attention. * The Parking Habits solution is a combination of hardware and software applications, which might require some development in the partner’s platform.
