- Temp. Sensor | ERM Telematics
Temp. Sensor Temperature Sensor for Cold Chain Cold Chain transportation operations requires a careful attention to the cargo’s temperature at all times, from the moment it was picked up, and until it reaches its destination. ERM’s Temperature Sensors are suited for any cargo that requires to maintain a certain temperature such as – pharmaceutical, food, flowers, and other sensitive commodity that is subjected to certain regulations. In order to monitor the cargo’s temperature and receive real time alerts regarding any temperature change, ERM offers Temperature Sensors, together with StarLink Tracker device. The Temperature Sensors, installed in different areas of the cooling compartment, monitor the temperature of the cargo at all times. Once the temperature has changed, below or above the predefined threshold, the StarLink Tracker issues a real-time alert, enabling the driver to check the cargo for any problem and immediately take care of it, to prevent any damage to the refrigerated goods. Using ERM’sTemperature Sensors, enable to maintain the cargo in the highest quality, and to protect and control the refrigerated items. Operational temperature range: -55° to 120° C. - Driver ID | ERM Telematics
Driver ID Solutions for Driver Identification. Fleet management operations frequently require driver identification. When only one driver can be assigned to a vehicle per trip, ERM’s Driver ID management solution enables the fleet manager to identify the driver with different types of driver identification solutions: Dallas iButton A coin-sized chip with a unique ID, usually connected to the driver’s keychain. The Dallas Reader is typically installed on the vehicle dashboard, in order to identify the driver and enable ignition accordingly. KeyPad With ERM’s KeyPad, each driver has his own unique digital password (1-5 digits). Upon entering the vehicle the driver enters his password on the KeyPad. Fir more details on Keypad accessories, Click Here . tCoin ERM’s tCoin is a two-way active RFID remote control. The tCoin enables the StarLink device to identify the driver and to ensure authorized use of the vehicle. It uses one-way or two-way communication with the StarLink device, depending on the specific implementation and solution requirements. Features: Small size coin-size Active Tag Two-way communication (RF, Rx/Tx) Panic button / one click arm disarm Internal shock sensor Battery power conservation mechanism. Battery operation: 12-18 months Reception distance: up to 20M radius All of ERM's Driver Identification solutions can either be used to identify the driver to the system, or, upon performing the identification action (touching the iButton, entering the KeyPad code or placing the tCoin in range), the immobilizing unit disarms in order to enable the vehicle's ignition. - ECU Alerts | ERM Telematics
ECU Alerts The ECU (Engine Control Unit) Alerts solution offers an easy to use, rule-based mechanism, developed to enable a simple analyzing process of the data received from the vehicle. As part of ERM’s vision, the ECU Alerts solution aims to provide the fleet manager with actionable information, rather than letting him tackle a great amount of raw data about situations and events from the vehicle. ERM’s ECU Alerting solution enables the analysis of the data to be made in the vehicle, instead of on the server’s side. This sophisticated mechanism brings about a significant reduction in communication data. It also makes it possible for the service provider to extract the information needed from the server without having to depend on professionals to analyze and process the data. When used with ERM’s CANbus Read technology, the ERM solution can extract specific ECU alerts such as engine temperature, health, gear state, fuel level, gas/brake pedal state, oil pressure, safety features, DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and many more parameters that are transmitted over the CANbus wires during the operation of the vehicle. By using ERM’s solution for ECU Alerts, it is possible to set different alerts based on almost any combination of parameters and events from the vehicle operation. This way, only once a defined combination is found will the specific alert be transmitted to the server.
